Any Ideas on how to start IE in kiosk mode when a user first logs in.

I tried placing a shortcut in the users startup folder with the -k. If I go
straight into the user after a restart IE opens, but not in kiosk mode. If I
restart and log into the admin account, then the user, it works fine. Dont
know if it has to do with protection or not.

Thanks!

I was able to do this successfully.

I created a shortcut in the Startup folder within the Start menu that has
the following Target:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -k

I restarted the computer, logged on to this account first, and IE in kiosk
mode is displayed.

This is for a restricted account, on a computer running Windows Disk
Protection.

Is their anything else about your configuration we need to know?
